A clean legacy
1997 was the year it all began, the birth of AAA Triarda Cleaning, but it wasn’t until two years later, in 1999 that Jim and Carrie Philp purchased the company as their own.
A small business was what they began with and a lot has changed over the 20 years, but one thing that has remained the same is their high standard of excellence.
“Our 20 year anniversary marks an important milestone for the company, as we reflect on how far we have come,” says Carrie. “We started with only a handful of employees, and now we are a loyal team of 15 and still on the hunt for more talent to add to our rapidly expanding team.”
Achieving this milestone is not the only cause for celebration however. “When you have been in business for as long as we have, strong relationships are imperative,” says Jim. “Relationships are incredibly important to us and enable us to have the vast support network that we have today. Our incredibly loyal base of customers, suppliers and staff enable AAA Triarda Cleaning to function in the way it does.”
While AAA Triarda Cleaning has a modest growth ambition, their continual focus on building a hard working team that adds to their overall workplace enjoyment is high on their list.
“Of course, we haven’t done this on our own and I would like to pay tribute to the fantastic team of loyal staff over the 20 years who have helped to build AAA Triarda Cleaning into the business it is today.
Our intentions have always been to maintain a highly trained pool of staff that take personal pride in their work and have great appreciation for a job well done. That in turn creates a great atmosphere for our clients, and I hope we have achieved this,” adds Jim.
“I would also like to thank all of our loyal clients, customers and partners for being a part of our journey and look forward to working with them as we enter the next exciting phase in our story,” says Carrie.
You might be surprised to learn that some of AAA Triarda Cleaning’s clients have been with them for over 15 of those 20 years. A testament that they are living true to their values.
In 2008, their eldest daughter Jayne joined the business as Operations Manager to drive development and growth, while continuing to increase their standard of workmanship and customer service.
When asking the Philp team what their greatest achievement in business has been, they quickly replied with “Being in business for 20 years”. On top of this, the business has not only survived economic downturns, but also achieved a 200% increase in revenue.
“The future is uncertain, but what we do know is that the perfect tomorrow would consist of a general wind back of responsibilities while handing over the reins to a younger mind and body,” says Jim.
We look forward to 2020 being one of our best years yet!
